Students develop new range of toys

24-Jul-2012

Thunderbirds were definitely all GO with the student team from Yarra Valley Grammar.

The host company, Goldie Marketing provided the project for the students to develop ideas for the products and characters that offer different attributes from the previous retro range of Thunderbird merchandise.

After a special viewing of two Thunderbird shows, so as to make sure the students were familiar with the characters and theme, (a touch of nostalgia for the Mindshop Facilitators, Barry Jenner and Nabil Salameh) the students spent their work experience week designing a new product range that included highly imaginative pool toys, RC vehicles, clock radios and bobble head figurines.

Goldie Marketing, CEO, Colin Caulfield was most impressed with the student presentation and their ideas and plan on how to market and promote the new products.
